It is about this time of year that Louisville really starts to wake up. While we may still see some wet snowflakes in April here in Northern Colorado, the calendar is full of amazing events. Our community events are small, but inviting. Events include a celebration of our small town's rich history but these events are also where Boulder hipsters, old timers, busy families, and the locals meet to attend the First Friday's Art Walks, Farmer's Markets, Street Faires with music and other community events.  Here is a sampling of these kinds of events coming up in May.

First Friday Art Walk -  On May 6th LRA will be proud to open our doors for First Friday's Art Walk and and feature the amazing art work of Lori Llerandi's Louisville Middle School art classes. We've decked our walls with a dozen pieces from wonderful LMS artists and can not wait to share them with our visitors. Join us for complimentary wine, beer, soda and snacks while you view our special collection and the many other Main Street Art Walk sponsors.

  • Date: Friday, May 6th

  • Time: 6pm - 8pm

  • Location: LRA Offices at 815 Walnut Street in Louisville, 1/2 block from Main Street

Farmers Markets -  Louisville is so fortunate to play host all summer long for Real Farmer’s Market on Front Street. LRA is even more fortunate to be a sponsor this year. Here you will see dozens of vendors and musicians and seeks to support Colorado farms and businesses by providing Louisville and surrounding communities with a dynamic and inviting market that is beneficial to both its vendors and customers by emphasizing the importance of buying local products. We hope to see you down there this summer. And if you miss the Louisville markets, try and get over to the Real Farmers Markets in Erie on Thursday evenings.

Friday Night Street Faires: Louisville Friday nights in the summer have become synonymous with the magic of our popular Street Faires including inviting outdoor music performances.  The event sponsor, Downtown Business Association,  aptly states on their website that the event resembles life as it should be, "Babies don’t cry, dogs don’t bark, and wise elders feel nineteen again."  We could not agree more.

  • Date: Fridays, June 17th to August 5th

  • Time: Street Faire runs 5 to 10pm. Music is 6:30 to 9ish — rain or shine.

  • Location: 3 blocks along Front Street

  • More Information: to view the full schedule click here.

While we love real estate, we love Louisville even more and do our best to get to these events as much as we can.  Our doors are usually open during many of these events, or we can be found in the crowd or as a sponsor. If you want to talk to our team about real estate,  we would be happy to meet up in Old Town Louisville or on the phone and share our thoughts.  You can reach me anytime at cory@louisvilleassociates.com.
