This remarkable city has all the features home seekers look for when considering moving to a new home or town. Other  special features include all Louisville’s lovely neighborhoods, variety of fine  eateries, employment opportunities, and recreational facilities.  With regards to education, Louisville has two libraries, six private schools and six public schools. The Louisville public library has one of the largest rates of circulation in Colorado and is one of the centerpieces of downtown.

Louisville is home to Coal Creek Golf Course, an award-winning 18-hole golf course in the middle of town, as well as 1,700 acres of open space, approximately 32 miles of walking and cycling trails throughout town, canyon rides, hot air balloon flights, and cycling options, among others. Some top community events includes the 4th of July Fireworks, the Labor Day Parade, Street Faires every Friday in the summer and Farmer's Markets on Saturdays. The Taste of Louisville is a very popular event on Main Street in June, closing the streets to car traffic allowing hundreds of residents and visitors to meander through the dozens and dozens of vendors. Essentially, Louisville is an excellent community in which to live.
